INTRODUCTION

The primary purpose of this document is to reveal the identity of Babylon the Great and to warn true Christians … ‘to be forewarned is to be forearmed’! The contents of this document would not have been possible – save for the knowledge gleaned from the book of Revelation (more correctly termed the scroll of Revelation), and real time experience in ‘Babylon The Great’. The English word Revelation has it’s root in the Greek word Apokalupto. This word is variously translated: Unveiling, Appearing, Disclosure, or Manifestation. Therefore, the subject of the Revelation is the coming back to earth of our Lord Jesus Christ. In other words, and in today’s parlance, what will be going down upon the earth prior to the physical return of our Lord Jesus. It is also God’s blueprint for the age to come. The Revelation divides itself into Seven Divisions and these divisions relate to certain geographical areas of the earth. Division Six (man’s number) is devoted to the judgement of ‘Mystery, Babylon The Great’ and the legitimacy thereof.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

This article seeks to address the subject of ‘Babylon The Great’ from a purely biblical perspective – in order to achieved the following:

• To be forewarned (knowledge of the harlot system) is to be forearmed.
• Gather as much understanding on this subject that you can – your life and that of your family may well depend on it! Especially when the mark of the beast becomes mandatory. There is now a world-wide banking initiative to adopt the EMV (Europay, MasterCard, Visa) standard, for the introduction of the ‘Smart Card’ – with a global deadline set for December 2005. The ‘Smart Card’ technology precludes the necessity for cash. Please note: the ‘Smart Card’ per se’ is not the mark of the beast – but, is the electronic precursor necessary for the implementation of the mark!
• Form like-minded groups for intercessory prayer. Pray against the powers and principalities – pray for another reformation.

BIBLICAL FOUNDATION AND FRAMEWORK

“Come out of her my people…” (Rev 18:4)

Upon reading this scripture two questions come to mind. Who is ‘her’? And why should ‘His people come out from her’? John gives us a clue in Rev 17:5 saying that, “She is Babylon The Great, The Mother of Harlots and of The Abominations of the Earth.” What does this mean, and what is the relevance of this scripture for Christians today? As already mentioned this document is a bible based interpretation of certain scripture in the book of Revelation pertaining to Babylon The Great, it’s structures, doctrines and agendas.

Biblical Foundation

“And Great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of wine of the fierceness of His wrath!” (Rev 16:19)

It is extremely clear from this statement that God Almighty hates this Babylon with vengeance! Surely, if we are wise stewards of the word, it is incumbent upon us to establish the identity of this Babylon – for the safety of all the saints. Throughout the passage of time, the enigma of ‘Mystery Babylon’ has assailed the minds of men. Interpretations proffered, range from the original city of Babylon (Baghdad) to the United States of America. Surely it is to the scriptures we must turn and diligently examine them for clues… Rev 16:19 links The Great City irrevocably to Great Babylon. Rev 17:18 links The Woman to The Great City.

Now the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. And Great Babylon was remembered before God, to give her the cup of wine of the fierceness of His wrath. (Rev 16:19) And the woman whom you saw is the great city which reigns over the kings of the earth. (Rev 17:18) And on her forehead a name was written: “Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother of Harlots and of The Abominations of The Earth”. (Rev 17:5)

There is a linkage within these scriptures which is immediately apparent: Rev 17: 5 links Mystery Babylon to The Harlot.

EXPLANATION OF SCRIPTURES

Therefore, these links (scriptures) establish beyond doubt that: Great Babylon, The Woman, The Harlot, and The Great City are one and the same, but, having different titles or descriptions – hencethe mystery referred to in Rev 17:5. They are indeed definitions of the City of Rome, and a corrupt religious system that controls and manipulates her. In John’s day, Rome the City upon seven hills ruled the known world of that period, not Jerusalem.

“Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains (hills) on which the woman sits.” (Rev 17:9)

The Mystery

Examined in closer detail: ‘Babylon The Great’ …is the mystery, and is a composite title ofGreat Babylon, The Woman, The Harlot, and The Great City.

The Woman

City which reigns over the kings of the earth.” (Rev 17:18)

We are left in no doubt whatsoever! The Woman is The Great City and that Great City is the Rome of John’s day, and the selfsame Rome (Vatican) of our day. In Europe, Rome is called Roma. The word Roma is rendered in English: ‘goddess of the city’. In ancient Rome they had a number of goddesses for the city, namely: Cybele, Isis, Diana, Jupiter, Minerva, etc. In 204 BC Mons Palatinus housed the silver image of Cybele, the great mother of harlots. In our day, the goddess is still on her throne and is known by a very different name: The Virgin Mary, erroneously taught by the Catholic hierarchy to be the queen of heaven and mediatrix. The present pope during his pontificate, more so than any of his predecessors has propagated Marian worship. In fact, he has the following inscription on his vestments: ‘totus tuus’ which is Latin for ‘entirely yours’, in reference to Mary! He also has a large unheraldic ‘M’ on his coat of arms.

The Great Harlot

Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgement of the great harlot who sits on many waters, with whom the kings of the earth committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth were made drunk with the wine of her fornication.” So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication. (Rev 17:1-4)

The mystery is becoming clearer now. The Woman and The Harlot are definitely the same entity. In our day, The Woman represents the Vatican State and The Harlot – the Roman Catholic church. She is referred to as The Great Harlot because of her fornication and through this practice has many, many, daughters (offspring). She is elsewhere referred to as The Mother of Harlots. As the Vatican State (the political entity) she fornicates with the governments of the world. The Woman is a super powerful GeoReligious (Global) organisation – that has absolute control over the political entity namely, the seven heads and ten horns. (The interpretation of the seven heads and ten horns will be addressed later). The Woman is arrayed in purple and scarlet and has enormous wealth. It is a historical fact that the emperors of Rome wore regal gowns of purple and scarlet. It is no coincidence that the official colours of the Roman Catholic hierarchy are purple and scarlet. She is also immensely wealthy and refers to herself as ‘the mother church’!

THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS : CATHOLIC DOGMA

Why is she referred to as The Mother of Harlots and Earth’s Abominations? Saints, the connotation of this title is mind blowing to say the least! First off: The Mother, notice that the word mother is prefixed by the definite article. She is not just any mother, but: The Mother! What is she the mother of? She is The Mother of Harlots therefore, it is clear from this statement that she not only has daughters, but that these daughters are designated harlots! By implication, if the daughters are harlots, then, she by virtue of being the mother is also a harlot! The daughters would naturally emulate the characteristics and attributes of the mother! It is through The Woman’s fornication that the daughters were conceived and are therefore illegitimate. Tragically, today, many mainline Christian denomination through ecumenism and many other organisations are back in the fold of the whore! This is the complete opposite of the injunction of our blessed Saviour – who says in Rev 18:4, “Come out from her My people…”. This is in spite of the blood of the martyrs and of our true pro-test-ant heritage. Jesus Christ has a Church, and Satan who is the master counterfeiter also has a church. The Roman Catholic church is a usurper and is a counterfeit of the true Church of Jesus Christ, and in heaven she is justly called an abomination! The dogma (laws and teachings) of the Roman Catholic church are pure error from beginning to the end! For the sake of brevity we will examine a few…

The Mass

Shod of all the misleading terminology, this so-called celebration is nothing more than the daily re crucifixion of Christ – over and over again; who in their right mind would want to celebrate (re-live) the crucifixion of Christ? Only Satan would want to do this – because when Jesus died he thought he had the ultimate victory? However, when Abba Father raised Jesus from the dead, he (Satan) was stunned! What is worse, the mass is a bloodless sacrifice!! The bible teaches without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin (Heb.9:22). Also, there is now no need for a priest, and for him to continually offer up sacrifices (Heb.10:11). Our lord Jesus said on the cross, “It is finished!” On a global basis there are approximately 200,000 masses celebrated daily!! What an affront to the completed work of Christ.

Marian Worship

The worshipping, praying and interceding to Mary. The Roman Catholic church teaches that Mary the mother of Jesus was raised bodily into heaven; and that she was sinless, and she is now the queen of heaven – interceding to her son on our behalf. What rubbish!

Transubstantiation

This fancy long word means that our Lord Jesus is residing physically in the communion wafer and the wine is His actual blood. This amazing feat is accomplished by the priest – a sinful man (through the act of incantations and the making of the sign of the cross) commanding Jesus to come out of heaven and to materialise into the communion wafers; which are then eaten by the communicants. In other words, the people are eating and drinking the literal flesh and blood of Jesus! The dictionary defines flesh eaters as cannibals!

Major Errors

Purgatory, praying for and to the dead.

pointed for man to die but once, and then to face the judgement.” (Heb 9:27)

Salvation by works – the seven sacraments plus the making of saints and the intercession thereof. Plethora of statues and the worshipping of the same. Confessionals, rosaries, altars, candles, holy water, unmarried priesthood, vestal virgins (nuns) etc, etc. The dogma of the Roman Catholic church is nothing more that the machinations of wicked men and will ultimately lead it’s adherents irrevocably into the lake of fire!

Heretic

As long as Canon 1 of The Council of Trent 1563 and ratified by the Vatican 11 Council 1963 – is in force, no true Protestant can sleep in peace. This law which is still applicable today states: “If any one shall deny that the body and blood, together with the soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ and therefore entire Christ, are truly really and substantially contained in the sacraments of the most holy Eucharist; and say that he is only in it as a sign or a figure – let him be accursed! (damned!). In fact, if any one disagrees with the so called seven sacraments of the holy mother church they are termed a heretic.” And as such, by order of the Prefect of the Holy Office (Grand Inquisitor) they can be arrested (usually by the civil authority), all assets confiscated, painfully tortured and then put to death. The title of the Prefect of the Holy Office has been changed to ‘Congregation of the Doctrine of Faith’ and was headed by one cardinal Joseph Ratzinger. In the year 2005AD Ratzinger was elected Pope!!!! The use of the words: ‘Doctrine of Faith’ in this title has ominous repercussions to say the least! The authority of the Grand Inquisitor extends down to the local bishop. Saints, these laws have never been rescinded – BEWARE!

WOMAN SITTING ON A SCARLET COLOURED BEAST : WHO & WHAT IS THE BEAST?

“I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet coloured beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns” (Rev 17:1-3)

The scarlet coloured beast is a specific regional political system which the harlot controls. In addition, in her GeoReligeous capacity she has tremendous global influence! Understandably, this is a very in-depth subject and the purpose here is to give an overview. What is alarmingly clear from this statement, is that it is The Woman (The Vatican – Roman Catholic church) who rides, and therefore controls the beast.

The Beast

The beast is representative of two entities namely, a regionalised political system in the spirit of a revived Roman Empire. In other words, a Europe stretching from the Atlantic in the West, to the Urals in the East, from the Adriatic Sea in the South, to the Baltic Sea in the North; the Middle East, and the whole of Mediterranean North Africa. Taken together with the FTA (Free Trade Area) agreements it will be the world’s largest geographical trading block. The implications boggle the mind!! “And that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or name of the beast, or the number of his name!” (Rev13:17). The Empire in its final form will be demarcated into ten regions or kingdoms within the stated geographical area. These are the ten crowns which are atop of the beast. In Latin, these ten crowns are collectively called ‘deceviral’ meaning council of ten (young) men.

Ten Horns (Crowns)

The beast is also the symbol of the collective political reality of the ten crowns, and as such, has a political personage as its visible head. It is to this latter day Roman Emperor that the ten give their allegiance, in addition, the false prophet (beast out of the land) orders the making of a animated statue of this ruler. This is the statue that the people of that geographical area will be required to (physically) come and worship. The rest of the world will worship via satellite link up.

Seven Heads

‘The Seven Heads’ has two distinct meanings. The first: literally the seven hills of Rome. The second, seven successive rulers or Emperors at the time pertaining to the literal outworking of these events. In other words, our day, and not AD95/96 which was John’s day. It was explained to him that five had fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. And when he comes he must continue a short time. And the beast that was, and is not, is himself also the eighth, and is of the seven, and is going to perdition. To understand this enigma we need to reverse the process: Number eight will be the final Emperor when this kingdom is at its zenith. Number eight is preceded by number seven. Number seven is only in his position for a short period, the reason being, prior to this number six was assassinated by dagger. At the time of his assassination, his deputy legally takes over his position and in so doing becomes number seven. John is told that five have fallen: and one is, therefore, the one that is – is himself number six. We are told elsewhere that number six is mortally wounded by dagger! However, surprise! surprise! number six comes back to life and takes over his kingdom again as the eighths ruler!! Taken in a modern context, the five that have fallen could be: Napoleon (France), Garibaldi (Italy), Kaizer (Germany) Mussolini (Italy), Hitler (Germany). The common denominator between these five is that they all saw themselves as latter day Roman Emperors, and they swore allegiance to the popes of their day. In our day, it now remains for number six: the beast, the son of perdition, the lawless one, to rise and take his position as the last Roman Emperor – in these, the days of CyberSpace!

The Great City

As already alluded, The Great City and Great Babylon are one and the same entity: Rome! Therefore, according to Rev 16:18-19, at some future point in history Great Babylon is going to be subjected to the wrath of the fierceness of god. At this juncture, it behooves us to ask: What has Great Babylon done that she should be deserving of such severe divine retribution? The indictments of Rev 17:6 are precise! Yes, this Woman has the blood of millions upon her hands – millions from the past, and many, many, more millions from the coming inquisition! And through her harlotry has deceived many millions, hence, “She is the biggest customer for the souls of men.” (see Rev 18:13)

Vatican State

Vatican City (State) fully meets the criteria of qualifying for the title of: The Great City and Mystery, Babylon The Great, Mother of Harlots and Earth’s Abominations. Vatican City is a fully fledged state within the national boundaries of the sovereign state of Italy. Mussolini signed the Lateran Treaty in 1929 (ratified 1984 – this process was done behind closed doors – the people of Italy had no say over the matter!), officially annexing ‘Vaticanus Mons’ (Vatican Hill) from the sovereign territory of the nation of Italy; and gave it to pope – in effect, the Roman Catholic church! Is it not strange, considering that many nations are at present in dispute with one another over borders; some resorting to go to war over these border issues! And yet, Italy is happy that the Vatican remain – in spite of the fact that Mussolini is long gone. More compelling evidence that we are on the right track. * One of Napoleon’s priorities upon becoming emperor was the papacy, he said: “The influence of Rome (papacy) is incalculable. It was a serious error to break with this power.” Napoleon realised that the papacy cannot be conquered by the sword. And that he would have to come to terms with it – in order to use it. *(The History of Europe and the Church, K W Stump).

Universally, Rome (Roma – Vaticanus) is known as ‘the eternal city’ upon seven hills. The Vatican, is at one and the same time a spiritual and political power. Political, because the Vatican is a fully fledged state within the United Nations. In addition to this, she has full accreditation with approximately 120 nations and has a highly experienced diplomatic corp. Whilst these two forces appear to be distinct in terms of their respective agendas, they are an amalgamation; and as such, their cohesiveness is attributed to the dominance of the spiritual over the temporal. In other words, the political is subordinate to the spiritual, and is the necessary vehicle used to fulfill the aspirations and objectives of the spiritual!

And the kings of the earth who committed fornication with her…” (Rev 18:9)

THE MYSTERY IS REVEALED

The Woman is none other than the present day Vatican City, which is the headquarters of the Vatican State/Roman Catholic church. The pope (of the day) by apostolic election is therefore it’s legal head; and as such, he carries full responsibility for this organisation. An organisation birthed in the abyss! “Babylon The Great, is fallen, is fallen and has become a habitation of demons, a prison for every foul spirit…” (Rev 18:2).

WHAT ARE THE RAMIFICATIONS OF THIS UNDERSTANDING TODAY?

The emissaries of Roma have for approximately 1500 years been labouring unceasingly night and day, in season and out of season, in every conceivable way, to advance their Master’s cause – by and large they have succeeded! But, the ‘children of light’ have allowed themselves to be lulled into fatal security, they have folded their hands; they have gone to sleep as soundly as if Roma had actually disappeared from the face of the earth – as if Satan himself has already been cast into the bottomless pit. * Search the Scriptures for yourselves and compare them with the facts of history; and see if there is reason to believe that there are indeed ominous days ahead for the saints! Days that most would not like to even contemplate! * It is never good to indulge in uninquiring and delusive feelings of safety – when true safety is to be found only in timely knowledge of the danger, and due preparation thereof. The Lord can bless and prosper to His own glory; the efforts of those who truly gird themselves to fight His battles in the most hopeless of circumstances. At the very moment when the enemy comes in like a flood, He can by His Spirit, raise up His standard. * * (Two Babylons -Rev A Hislop) The reformers lived under this cruel and oppressive system and therefore they recognised her for what she is: the Whore of Babylon! She is sometimes described as follows: ‘a lamb in adversity, a fox when in equality, and a tiger when in the ascendancy.’ Bishop J C Ryle, who stands strongly in the Protestant tradition, had no doubt about the Roman Catholic church. He stated the following: “Unity without truth is useless. When Rome has repealed the decree of Trent and her additions to the creed, and when she has formally renounced image worship, Mary worship, and transubstantiation, then and not until then, will it be time to talk of reunion with her. Till then I call on all Christians to resist to death this idea of reunion with Rome.” (All roads lead to Rome, M. De Semlyen : page 176).

TRUE CHRISTIANS BEWARE!

This system is the most insidious, the most deceptive, and the most diabolical of all. It is delusion of the highest order to embrace this organisation as an apostate Christian Church. She never was Christian, and can never be! She is an abomination! Her plans are highly evolved – her global web is almost completely spun! Governments usually plan in five year increments – Roma plans over hundreds of years. Let it always be at the forefront of our minds; that according Rev 18:13, she is the biggest customer for the souls of men! Do not be under the misapprehension of thinking that she can be changed from within! It is too late!!

• “…behold, a great fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads…” (Rev 12:3)
• “So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old (Garden of Eden), called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world…” (Rev 12:9)
• “And the dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.” (Rev 13:2)
• “So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast…” (Rev 13:4) The Dragon is Satan!

It must be clearly understood that this document is not intended as license to initiate a “Catholic bashing” program (physically, mentally or otherwise); instead it must be seen as a means to enlighten and to edify God’s people, “My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge…” (Hosea 4. 6). There are millions of Catholics around the world and each one is precious to God, and His desire is that they come to a full knowledge and understanding of Him. He is a jealous God not wanting any to perish, but all to come to salvation through Jesus Christ, and therefore be liberated from ignorance, superstition and deception – which is the primary objective of this document.
