Who Currently Has Dominion Over Planet Earth, Jesus or Satan?
N.B. Ideally this document should be read in conjunction with the document entitled: Pearls From The Great I Am’s Throne.
The following supposition must be understood within the parameters of beloved Abba’s permissive will, and the fact that there is much in the Bible that remains a mystery.
Background
Prior to the ‘fall’ the garden of Eden (Paradise) was located between the confluence of the Euphrates and the Tigress — which today equates approximately to what we know as Baghdad. After Adam and Eve were expelled from Eden an angel was instructed to guard the entrance. It is probable that he remained there until the flood. A secondary reason for the flood perhaps?
Paradise was a place of perfection… where Adam was in perfect relationship with his Maker — so much so, that they walked and talked together in the cool of the evening. Then… tragedy struck! The tragedy was in the form of Satan, who through rebellion lost the title and position of Lucifer. The legacy of that tragedy is still with us today.
We need at all times to keep in mind that the earth (1st heaven) is a consequence of the 3rd heaven (God’s Throne). In other words, what transpires in the 3rd heaven directly impacts upon the earth and NOT the other way round. The sequence is established in Proverbs 8:20–31 (especially vs 26-27)
Proverbs 8:30 says that Jesus was as a master craftsman at his Father’s side. Therefore, we can deduce that Jesus was intimately involved with the creation of the cosmos whilst at His Father’s side. In fact, Psalm 147:4 says He knows each star by name — He named each star! How awesome!
Hebrews 1:10 confirms this: “Lord, in the beginning you laid the foundation of the earth , and the heavens are the work of your hands.”
Lucifer
Lucifer was a cherub from the time of his creation and his name meant ‘Light Bearer’. The light of God shone through Lucifer’s body making him the angel of light and he shielded God’s throne. He was the highest order of creation and was perfect in beauty and wisdom…
“…thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty. Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee. By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire. Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness…” (Eze 28:11-19)
It is clear from the above scripture that Lucifer was an intimate witness to the creation saga and was aware of the garden of Eden — hence him pitching up there much later, but as Satan.
There is a high probability that some time after the angelic host had been created that Lucifer became envious of Jesus — positionally speaking. Twice he endeavoured to kill Jesus: first as a baby and later when He was about two in order to short circuit the works of Christ. His jealously reached its pinnacle at the crucifixion wherein Satan thought he had gotten absolute victory. Hence, to this day, mainly via mainline organised religion the crucifixion scene is replayed over and over! And yet, Jesus’ last words were, “It is finished!” Meaning that the sacrificial system (including the cross) and everything it represented was cancelled, replacing it with the resurrection and the New Testament.
Lucifer, because of his pride and deceit, tried to pull off what amounted to a coup d’état… “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation (New Jerusalem), in the sides of the north.” Isa 14:12-13
Lucifer convinced a third of the angelic host to rebel along with him. As a result of his failed coup d’état Lucifer became Satan; and together with his fallen angels was cast out of the 3rd heaven into the 2nd heaven and 1st heaven (Stella region down to earth). It was at this time that he became ‘Prince of the Air’. (Eph 2:2) “And his tail drew the third part of the stars (angel) of heaven, and did cast them to the earth…” Rev 12:4
And he (Jesus) said unto them, “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.” (Luk 10:18)
Lucifer’s fallen status names: Satan = Accuser of the brethren; The Devil (little god); Power and Prince of the Air (2nd & 1st heaven); God of this world; Dragon; etc.
God of this World
“Now there was a day when the sons (angels) of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them. And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.” (Job 1:6-7)
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not… (2 Cor 4:4)
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. (1 Jon 4:3)
And the Devil, leading Him up into a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the Devil said to Him, “All this power I will give you, and the glory of them; for it has been delivered to me. And I give it to whomever I will. Therefore if you will worship me, all shall be yours.” (Lk 4:5 –7)
The above scripture prove conclusively that Satan has dominion (legal right) over this planet and the 2nd heaven until Jesus returns. The garden of Eden saga reveals that the stakes were exceedingly high for the planet earth and Satan won — temporarily that is! Only REDEMPTION gets it back.
Below is a diagram of the unseen ruler/s of this world. This is not my work, however, I think it is useful with regard to graphically illustrating the satanic structures.
Plea
The plea that has gone out from generation to generation for almost two millennium: “Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.Thy kingdom come…” Cannot seemingly go indefinitely unanswered. The countless millions over the years that prayed this prayer in sincerity will never be disappointed! The kingdom in response to the prayers of the saints will be established after the battle of Jerusalem.
Scroll of Revelation
It is my steadfast belief that the scroll of Revelation is the most important document to ever come into existence — for a thousand and one reasons, so to speak. One of which, is that it is the TITLE DEED for the planet earth. It represents and fulfills (amongst many things) the legal requirement for the transfer of ownership back to its rightful owner. The injunction is very specific:
“And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign forever and ever.” Rev 11:15. Contrast this with Luke 4:5-7.
“And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loosen its seals? And no one in Heaven, nor on the earth, nor under the earth, was able to open the scroll or to look at it. And I wept very much, because no one was found worthy to open and to read the scroll, nor to look at it. And one of the elders said to me, Do not weep. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose the seven seals of it. And I looked, and lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, amidst the elders, a Lamb stood, as if it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him sitting on the throne. And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one having harps and golden vials full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, for You were slain and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every kindred and tongue and people and nation. And You made us kings and priests to our God, and we will reign over the earth. And I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, and the living creatures and the elders. And the number of them was myriads and myriads, and thousands of thousands, saying with a great voice, Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing. And I heard every creature which is in the Heaven and on the earth, and under the earth, and those that are in the sea, and all who are in them, saying, Blessing and honor and glory and power be to Him sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb forever and ever. And the four living creatures said, Amen. And the twenty-four elders fell down and worshiped the One living forever and ever.” Rev 5:2-14
Some years ago, via a Christian radio station I heard a talk by a believer wherein he discussed how land transactions were conducted in ancient Israel. I cannot now recall all the details of what he said but the jest of what was spoken of was something like this:
“The names of the parties (seller & buyer) would be recorded on the outside of the scroll, together with the name of the seller’s first born, or heir; along with conditions whereby the land could be redeemed at a later stage.”
In other words, the new owner, prior to reselling the property, was legally bound to offer it to the original owner’s first born or whoever’s name appeared on the outside. If the condition of redemption were not met, the property could then be disposed of to someone else. Specifics pertaining to the details of the property were recorded on the inside of the scroll.
Therefore, it is not surprising that we find that the scroll of Revelation is written on the outside (terms of redemption) and on the inside (details pertaining to the redemptive action plan).
“And I saw a scroll on the right of Him sitting on the throne, written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals.” Rev 5:1
“And I looked, and behold! A hand was extended to me; and lo, a roll of a book was in it. And He spread it before me; and it was written on the face and the back. And written on it were weepings, and mourning, and woe.” Eze 2:9-10
The Earth
After the sounding of the 7th trumpet the earth is wrestled from Satan during the battle of Jerusalem. It is wrestled in terms of the great carnage wrought upon Satan and his coalition forces – although the outcome was never in any doubt! Because the prophetic word foretells of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords’ resounding victory.
